Announcing: Kickstarter Stretch Goals!

We reveal all the details about our Kickstarter stretch goals: the Keyhole Clamp and the axiiio Slider!

We're getting ever closer to Kickstarter & we'll be announcing a date soon. In the meantime we've started the manufacturing process for our first bulk order of Motion Pancakes. The pancakes take the longest to manufacture and we thought we'd better get ahead of demand. That's one more thing you can be confident of, we'll have stock for backers.

The axiiio nano system is not just an idea, we have bee using prototypes and pre-production units for years already. The Motion Pancake, the Motor, and the Receiver are all finished , working, tested designs ready to go.

Kickstarter Stretch Goals!

Because we've been using our equipment for video production, we keep having ideas for improving rigs and workflow. We've decided to take some of these ideas and offer them as stretch goals.

As promised we now have the details!

Pancake Keyhole Clamp

This super low-profile clamp provides a quick-release mounting option for our nano motion pancakes, for mounting onto any surface you decide to attach it to! It uses our keyhole clamping system which also keeps the central axis of the pancake free for running cables through the unimpeded rotational motion. We've built the prototype all we need is your help to make this a reality!

The axiiio nano Slider

Yes, that's right, we're offering our first custom slider for use with the axiiio nano motion system! This ultralightweight carbon fibre slider kit gives you a turnkey solution for automating slide moves with our ProMoCo software. It includes everything you need to turn either our Starter Kit or three axis FIZ Kit into a fully automated slider. Just slide-lock a nano motor to it and you're good to go!

You can find all the details about our stretch goals, and more on our Kickstarter Launch page.

Please Share

If you're excited to see what axiiio can do, please share a link to our site, to anyone you think would be interested.  It's a long road to bringing a product like this to market and we appreciate all the help we can get. The more interest we can generate early, the more chance our Kickstarter campaign has for success.

And, of course, all subscribers go into the running to win 1 of 2 free pre-production axiiio nano kits!

Thanks

That's all for this one. See you next week, and always remember to take the spare SD card (our recent film shoot was nearly a disaster!)
