Small Tweaks, Big Improvements!

Making the axiiio experience even better...

Hi axiiio fans,

There are a couple of small improvements we're currently implementing, that we think are pretty awesome.

Firstly, we've made a small change to the pancake housing on the Pan-Tilt frame. The original design made it difficult to close and lock the motor to the pancake because the lever rested against the cover. With the alteration to the design this has been fixed, and you can now get your finger under it for easier manipulation.

This little dent was actually difficult to add, as there is very little material in this spot to remove. But we've come up with a winner! Strong, and easy to open and close.

Next was the inbuilt tool holder on the Pan-Tilt head. Having Hex keys easily and readily accessible for adjustments on the fly is both time and frustration saving.

We re-designed the Hex Key holder to hold the full length of the keys, ensuring that it's fully supported when inserted. We also added more material to the design to ensure it won't break easily. You can see the difference in design in the images below.

There are other improvements that we're also working on. We'll fill you in about them in upcoming news posts.

Thanks
